Please note that from September to mid-May, Conferences and Accommodation staff are available from 7am to midnight seven days a week. Between the hours of midnight and 7am staff at the Front Desk is available for emergencies and after hour check-ins.

Our Gage Suites are private, safe, and located within 25 minutes of downtown. They are also in close proximity to transportation, with a major bus exchange located on campus. Our rooms provide everything you need from a full-kitchen to high-speed Wi-Fi. This convenience is especially essential for families.

The Gage Suites are safe and secure as well as being close to all major bus routes and just 25 minutes away from the vibrant downtown area. This allows you to enjoy all the wonders Vancouver has to offer without having to travel long distances. With 2 different suite types to choose from, you can guarantee you will be staying in comfort and style.
UBC building operations are carbon neutral with heating and power provided by Biomass generation and Hydro Electricity, making them environmentally friendly. Select Gage Suites are also in pursuit of LEED Gold Certification.
The surrounding areas are rich in culture and beauty. From the UBC Rose Garden, Nitobe Memorial Garden, and UBC Botanical Garden to local sports facilities, golf courses, and aquatic centres, there is plenty to explore. You can also attend a performance at the concert hall or marvel at the creativity within the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery.

A check-in desk provides security and gives you peace of mind that your suite is safe when you are gone for the day to attend to business or just to take in the sights and sounds of Vancouver.
One-bedroom suites have the feel of apartment life. Amenities include a bedroom complete with a king-sized bed, a living space with a queen-sized sofa bed, a full kitchen, a private bathroom with a shower, Wi-Fi, TV, telephone, and air-conditioning.
Complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee are provided, along with daily housekeeping and on-site parking, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
61 suites available from mid-May to mid-August, with the capacity to accommodate up to 4 people per suite.
At 305 square feet, our air-conditioned Studios provide a tranquil retreat for the busy traveler. Each suite features a queen-sized bed, a full kitchen with counter seating, and a dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi. We take care of the details with daily housekeeping, complimentary Nespresso coffee and tea, and discounted onsite parking. These suites are available seasonally from mid-May to mid-August.
We have 32 suites available with room to accommodate up to two people. These suites give you the space to relax and prepare for important meetings and conferences.

Front Desk Hours

Parking
Parking is available for the nightly fee of $25 or under.

Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted in any of our guest rooms. Service Animals are permitted with proper documentation, which must be presented at check in.

Rollaway Beds
Rollaway beds are not provided. If you require more than one bed, please enquire about our West Coast Suites and One Bedroom Suites at the Gage Apartments, which have pullout sofas in the living room.
The Pacific Spirit Hostel has a twin bed option, which is a room that has two separate beds. -
Pool and Fitness Facilities
There are two fitness facilities centrally located on the campus, the Rec North and the Arc. Additionally, there is a Gold’s Gym located at the University Village. The UBC Aquatic Center offers public access to the pool at designated times for a small fee. Please refer to their website for up to date times.

Restaurants
Along with many hotel suites having a kitchenette, there are a variety of food outlets around the UBC Campus. Please enquire at the front desk for locations and hours of operation.

Laundry Facilities
Laundry Facilities are available at each of our properties. Refillable Laundry cards are available at the Front Desk for a $5 deposit. Guests are responsible for the cost of each load of laundry.

Toiletries
At West Coast Suites and Gage Suites, we provide our guests with the following toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, soap, hair dryer, toilet paper, tissues and towels. We also provide additional toiletries at the front desk at no additional cost, these consist of tooth brushes, toothpaste, floss, razors, earplugs and sleep masks. All toiletries can be replenished upon request.
Pacific Spirit Hostel guests are provided with free soap and shampoo. -
Playpens
At West Coast Suites and Gage Suites, playpens are available on request and can be set up in one-bedroom suites. If you require a playpen to be set up in your room prior to your arrival, please request this when making your booking or contact our reservations team.

EV Charging
For guests at West Coast Suites and Gage Suites, we have 4 EV charging stations available (Charger ID: BCT1-BCT4) in our underground parkade. If you require EV charging, we recommend you download the SWITCH app prior to your arrival. At check-in, please ask a Front Desk Representative for SWITCH EV charging access code. Once parked, follow the app instructions accordingly to complete your parking transaction.
For guests at Pacific Spirit Hostel, the nearest EV charging station can be found in the lower level of the Fraser River Parkade.

Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations should be cancelled 1 day prior to your arrival date in order to avoid a one night charge. Reservations can be cancelled online by using the confirmation number you were provided with at the time of booking.
24-hour cancellation policies are not applicable to non-refundable rates. -
Availability of Year-Round Accommodations
West Coast Suites and our Gage Studios are available year round. Gage Apartments (One and two-bedroom) and Pacific Spirit Hostel are only available for reservations from mid-May until mid-August. We do not offer monthly rates during the summer season.

Proximity to Downtown Vancouver
The UBC Campus is approximately 12km from Waterfront station downtown, depending on the time of day this can be between a 20 to 40 minute drive. Public Transportation to and from downtown is easily accessible from the campus.

Proximity to Vancouver International Airport
The UBC Campus is approximately 20 km from the Vancouver International Airport, depending on the time of day this can be between a 30 to 50 minute drive. Taxis cost approximately $35 from the airport to the campus.
