Yes! Our Hotels are Open…….. Improved Cancellation Policy

The West Coast Suites and Gage Apartments are open and continue to welcome guests as it has been the last few months. We are also accepting reservations for July and August at our Pacific Spirit Hostel, which has the lowest hostel private room in Vancouver, as well as our Ponderosa Studios, a modern economical hotel room with everything that you need.

We understand that due to the current situation, travel plans may change suddenly. As such, we have temporarily reduced our cancellation policy from 72 hours to 24 hours at all of our properties. In addition, we are offering FREE PARKING (offer ended in August 2020) for guests staying at the West Coast Suites and Gage Apartments. Free hotel parking is definitely a rarity in Vancouver and we are happy to accommodate our guests as we know that more people may be driving. Note that these are limited time offers and subject to availability.

Our rooms at Ponderosa, Gage and West Coast Suites all come with kitchenettes, allowing guests the convenience of cooking for themselves. For those wanting to eat out, several food outlets on are open, but please check the hours of operations at food.ubc.ca/feedme/. My personal favourite are the wood-fired, made to order, Neapolitan style pizzas from Mercante!

Popular Vancouver attractions such as the Museum of Anthropology and others, currently remain closed at this time. For updated information, please visit www.visit.ubc.ca/. There is still plenty to do at UBC, including spending a day at the beautiful (clothing-optional) Wreck Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Vancouver, as well as taking a jog or hike through the wooded trails of Pacific Spirit Park.
